To identify the punching, you must look at the rim in the section of the valve hole:
A ''English'' Punching: compared to valve hole, the spokes /nipples are left pointing (see photogragh A)
B ''Italian'' Punching: compared to valve hole, the spokes /nipples are right pointing (see photograph)
